COREY CLIVE

Mr. Clive joined the military right after high school and played football for the US Navy and US Coast Guard. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Operational and Management Statistics. Upon receiving an honorable discharge as a Service-Disabled Veteran, Mr. Clive set his sights on the business world.

After a successful and rewarding career working for nearly 10 years in the field of Construction and Land Development (strong emphasis with regulatory environmental concerns and reducing energy use within the building envelope) within Fortune 500 companies such as Pulte Homes and Toll Brothers, Mr. Clive founded Venergy Group, LLC (Venergy) in 2009. Venergy was established as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with the goal of putting as many veterans to work to serve their clients with Honor, Duty and Integrity.

Venergy was founded with a strong base of environmental energy management experience including strategic planning, energy assessments, construction management, and design/build of energy systems Utilizing the skills he developed in the military, business world and energy sector,

Mr. Clive has developed and demonstrated his company’s ability to thrive through the use of its technology, products and services, obtaining contracts with the federal, state and local governments and a variety of domestic businesses from the industrial sector. It is through this experience that he has been able to pass on his knowledge for the benefit of small businesses and veterans in business.

Mr. Clive is well-known in the community as an active and passionate advocate for veterans, small business, and non-profit organizations. Mr. Clive’s vast knowledge of veterans’ business affairs together with his enthusiasm, energy, and stellar reputation has secured his appointment to many influential non-profit committees such as Veterans Pathway to Success which supports the goals of young veteran entrepreneurs.

Recently, Venergy Group was selected by the Department of Energy to the qualified ESCO (Energy Savings Company) list and have a Joint Venture with Brewer-Garrett out of Cleveland, OH.
