New York native, Josh White joined the United States Army as an Infantryman following his graduation from Ohio University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Industry in 2004.  Josh went on to earn the coveted Green Beret in 2006 after completing the Special Forces Qualification Course and would serve for the next seven years as a member of the United States Army 7th Special Forces Group as a Special Forces Engineer Sergeant.  Josh was able to acquire many unique qualifications throughout his career in Special Operations, completing the U.S. Army’s Ranger school, Airborne school, Military Freefall Parachutist training, and many others.  He would earn three Bronze Star medals for his actions in combat and was awarded the Purple Heart throughout seven deployments to Afghanistan and various South American countries.
Josh was honorably discharged from the Army as a Service-Disabled Veteran in early 2014. Eager to take on the business world and challenge himself, he found a home with the Venergy Group team as a Project Manager where he is excited to put his engineering, organizational and leadership experience to use.  True to his roots in the military, Josh was passionate to take on an industry that is ever evolving, where to be successful, inventive and outside of the box thinking is required.  Josh is keen to utilize the knowledge and experience he has attained around the world, as well as the relationships he has cultivated in the military and Federal Government to help Venergy to achieve its mission of providing innovative, cutting edge, energy saving solutions to its customers.
